my lunch hour proved to be very productive.
christmas shopping is FIN! DONE!
plus i found CJM the perfect pick me up gift.
he’s seriously starting to get cabin fever and although being home with caroline is lifting his spirits, the outdoorsman in him is raging to get out.
so i found an indoor duck hunting set.
complete with birds that fly and squawk and a gun to shoot em.
the duck commander would be proud of me for keeping him on his game.
google him…the duck commander. phil robertson. we met him once and he took one look at me and told cjm ‘you better marry this girl. she’s a keeper.’

We had Caroline dedicated yesterday.
It was quite overwhelming to see all our family and friends there and Caroline’s white gown was so perfect.

The sparkle in her eyes from those lights made me feel more festive than I ever have. Chris and I stared in amazement at the perfect little profile of her face as those wide eyes took in the colors and sounds.
December so far:
We took Caroline to see the Christmas lights in this little town called Meadow.
There’s a train through the land of lights, a carrousel, Santa and a candy store!
CJM was determined to take her, so he braved the cold and the pain in his leg and off we went (along with our dear friends, Patrick and Missi!)

Colby James is melting my heart more and more everyday. He’s a 6 week old stud and has his mommy’s looks. Watch out girls. He’s gonna be a looker.

I bought Caroline this little backpack while in New York.
It says I heart New York and she paraded around with that on her back like she knew she was the hot mess she is.

i have an overwhelming desire to bite people-and often do. i talk to my mom everyday and think that's normal. (even though my husband doesn't) i have lived in north carolina all my life and plan to stay here for the rest of it. olives are my favorite food in the world and i drink red wine a lot.
